StarCrawlers is a rpg/dungeoncrawler with turn based combat that has recently released on steam early access. The game currently lacks the main campaign but it has unlimited randomly generated sidequests. The dungeons themselves are also randomly generated. Your party can consist of up to 4 different classes out of the 8 available. At the moment I feel there is some balancing needed for the combat in general but It is enjoyable and each class has its own purpose (though some of them just feel underpowered atm). While technically you could play this game forever, each classes skill trees are not yet complete and you can get your party members up to the highest available skills after grinding for a few hours. Combat follows a timeline system with different moves having different amounts of time + weapon time determining that characters next turn.
So far I am really enjoying this game but the lack of content/direction is a deal breaker for a stamp of approval, but once more content is added I could see this becoming a real gem.

First person puzzle games are a rare thing, even with the universal praise of every single one that I can think of there are still only a handful that come to mind. Parallax just came out yesterday and its a trying its hand at the untouchable genre. From what I have seen so far(I have only played an hour hence first impressions) It fulfills all of my expectations. This is the first steam release from Toasty Games, and the game seems pretty polished. Unlike most other first person puzzle games this one lacks a narrator like in portal or Talos principle, or less obvious hints like in antichamber. This isn't necessarily a bad thing and I think it would be silly criticize a game for not having something that shouldn't be expected. The gameplay mechanics are introduced at a nice pace, but there are certainly perceived difficulty spikes. For me this has been one of the biggest problems in these types of games, Talos principle solved this rather well by letting you pick when you would solve the puzzles you had a problem with. The best solution for difficult puzzles in any game has always been to close the game and try the puzzle again with a fresh mind in a hour or two. That certainly doesn't sound like a solution from a game design perspective but for childish people like me it works rather well. While the solutions for a lot of levels leave you kinda confused some of them are still very satisfying to solve and that's ultimately what I try to get our of these games.
Disclosure- I receive a review copy of this game, I do not believe it has affected my judgement of it but I like everyone to know. This title has been added to the disclosure section of our site aswell. This is not a full review, I have so far only played this game for a little over an hour.

As the forum is setup now, only the first 15 threads are shown on each board. The free plan we have setup has other stipulations. Upgrading the forums costs 40 bucks a year so I could try to kickstart an upgrade or something, maybe a few people will donate to the cause when I ask on stream sometime? I dunno I will probably put whatever money is donated to me on stream to the upgrade unless someone posts a better idea. No matter what though go enjoy the forums! ill try to sort out how to improve them no matter what :3
Our kickstarter is now at 130bucks! We will soon have our own mumble server where we can all do cute things and chat together! please enjoy! here is a pic of me for you guys to call cute or whatever as thanks :3.
Disclosure I received a review copy of this game and the dev asked me to do a little writeup about this ;3
I will change this in the future as the game progresses and I invest more time into it.
This is a fun space shooter similar to the old games I used to play in pizza shops as a kid. The shop system in the game is unique, you buy/sell resources with different prices in different regions and are required to use specific resources when you buy upgrades. Overall this is nice and determines what mission you will attempt to do based on reasource prices at the destination. The actual gameplay is solid but basic, I really do hope they add more depth to the way enemies spawn. The on rails movement of enemies is fine but doing it for every enemy makes the game feel alittle dull in my opinion. I havn't played long enough to comment on the weapon progression but right now it appears that all the upgrades you recieve are temporary/powerups that last only in the stage you recieve them.
Overall for the price I think this is a solid space shooter and would love to see what changes will be made in the future. If you are looking into buying it I would suggest waiting as I do with almost all early access titles.
As many of our fans may have noticed we have been curating several vns recently. I myself am not a huge fan of vn and most of my favorite ones do not have steam releases. I am looking forward to the higurashi steam release but that's for another rant ;3. Since I know alot of our curator followers come to us because of the name Anime 1.0 I feel it is important to get at least some anime related games on our page. The strict quality requirements for a game to be worthy of our curation remains the same but to properly judge these games from genres that I am not prone to personally enjoy I have been using a few of my mods who are vn fans to pick and choose their favorite vns. I hope you all enjoy their choices and I am always willing to listen to feedback on their choices either here, on the curation, or in group chat ;3.
With less than 10 days left on our kickstarter we are at 70$! In a few days the kickstarter will be over the site will be finalized, though I still really would appreciate feedback on what to add/remove ex I might have gone overboard on the adsense ;3.
Interest in a forum would be cool too! just tell me saku and maybe I will add it ;3
